Shipping Policy

At Tulips Cookie Shop, we want your cookies to arrive as fresh and beautiful as the moment they left our oven. Please review our shipping guidelines below to ensure a smooth delivery experience.

Baked to Order: To ensure maximum freshness, we do not keep stock on hand. Every order is baked fresh specifically for you.

1. Processing & Lead Times

Standard Cookie Boxes: Please allow 2-3 business days for processing and baking before your order is dispatched.
Custom Sugar Cookies: Since these are hand-detailed, lead times are typically 7-10 business days. We will confirm your specific delivery date during the quoting process.

2. Shipping Rates & Areas

We ship nationwide across South Africa using trusted courier partners.

Main Centers: (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban, etc.) typically take 1-2 business days once dispatched.
Regional/Outlying Areas: May take 3-5 business days once dispatched.
Shipping Fees: Calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight of your order.

3. Delivery Days

To avoid cookies sitting in a courier warehouse over the weekend, we typically dispatch orders from Monday to Thursday. Orders placed late on Thursday or Friday will be baked and dispatched the following Monday.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order is picked up by our courier, you will receive an email with a tracking number. Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to receive the package, as our cookies are perishable and should not be left in the sun or outside for extended periods.

5. Incorrect Addresses

Tulips Cookie Shop is not responsible for deliveries to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping (and potentially re-baking if the product is no longer fresh).

6. Collections

If you have selected the "Local Collection" option at checkout, we will notify you via email or WhatsApp as soon as your order is ready for pickup from our kitchen in Weltevreden park, Johannesburg.
